Great starter uke

I bought two ukes from UkeFan for my two girls, this one and a Kala Walnut. This is what I would consider "the base starter uke" if you're unsure or on a budget. Great build (not perfect), great traditional sounding uke, also being a laminate it is more durable than a solid wood uke. You will get your money's worth from this buy and much more.
The set-up seems to be good, great action and resonance. If a buzzz starts popping up, check tuning as 90% of the time it's a sign the tuning is slightly off. As with nylon strings takes a solid week to two weeks to hold tune.
